Privacy Policy
The short version: the app doesn't know who you are. There are no accounts, no ad trackers and no analytics tools. Your location stays on your device.

This policy covers the iOS and Android app "Zurich Fountain Tour" as well as the website and web app at martina-meyer.ch/brunnentour.
Location data
The app only requests your location when you use a feature that needs it - such as "nearest fountain" or showing your position on the map. All processing happens locally on your device. Your location is never transmitted to us or to third parties, never stored, and never combined with other data. You can revoke the permission at any time in your system settings; the app works without it.
In-app purchases
The one-time purchase "All Tours" is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details; they stay with Apple or Google. To validate and restore purchases we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat Inc., USA). This involves a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier and the purchase receipt - no names, no e-mail addresses. Map and fountain data
When displaying the map, the app loads map tiles from swisstopo (the Swiss Federal Office of Topography) and fountain data from the City of Zurich's open data portal. As with any web request, your IP address is technically transmitted to those servers. We have no influence on this and receive no information from it.
Website and web app
- Hosting: The website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Basel (Switzerland). The server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for operational security; they are deleted automatically.
- Fonts: The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA), which transmits your IP address to Google.
- Cookies and tracking: No analytics or marketing tools are embedded. The web app only stores local preferences (such as language) in your browser's storage; they never leave your device.
Your rights
Since we don't store any personal data about you, there is usually nothing to disclose, correct or delete. If you still have privacy questions - for instance about purchases via RevenueCat - you can reach us via the contact details on martina-meyer.ch. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) applies and, where relevant, the GDPR.
